Thomas M. Calogero obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, with a major in political science, and a minor in English. After earning his Juris doctorate degree from Tulane University School of Law, Mr. Calogero clerked for the Honorable Ronald Loumiet of the 24th Judicial District of Louisiana. From 1991 to 2009, he was an associate attorney with Regan and Associates, P.L.C., concentrating his practice in criminal defense. Since 2010, Mr. Calogero has been a solo practitioner with the Law Office of Thomas M. Calogero, L.L.C.

Mr. Calogero has represented thousands of clients accused of crimes, achieving extraordinary success in jury trials throughout the State of Louisiana. The majority of these jury trials have resulted in acquittals. He has also been successful in reversing convictions at the appellate level. He also handles all misdemeanors in traffic court and municipal court.

Mr. Calogero is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts of law, the federal courts in Eastern, Middle and Western districts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the Jefferson Parish Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the Italian American Bar Association.
